Fourth-place finish in Ronny Adams Memorial at Boothill
Cade Dillard returned to the Super Late Model ranks on Friday evening with a visit to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) for the doubleheader weekend with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS).
With 41 Late Models on the grounds for the fourth annual event honoring the late Louisiana racing legend Ronny Adams, Dillard raced his way into the opener via a runner-up finish in his B-Main after finishing fifth in his heat. With $5,000 on the line, Cade advanced through the field 12 spots to register a seventh-place finish.
On Saturday, Cade followed up the fifth-fastest qualifying effort in his group with a third-place finish in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win Ronny Adams Memorial finale in ninth, Dillard passed five cars in the 40-lap affair to place fourth. He trailed Garrett Alberson, Billy Moyer, and B.J. Robinson across the line with Billy Moyer Jr. coming in fifth.
