Dillard pockets $20,000 in Fall Nationals at Vado Speedway Park

Breaking out his CDR Modified for the three-day weekend, Cade Dillard made the tow to Vado (N.M.) Speedway Park on Friday afternoon to kick off the USRA-sanctioned Fall Nationals showdown.

During a pair of qualifying nights, Dillard drove to the victory on Friday evening over Terry Phillips and Tanner Mullens before finishing fourth in the preliminary feature on Saturday night.

His results put him on the second-row for the weekend finale on Sunday. Dillard ran second for the first 21 circuits before he wrestled the lead away from Terry Phillips and permanently took the top spot on lap 23. Cade paced the field for the remainder of the 50-lap finale and took home a $20,000 payday.
