Cade Dillard lands seventh-place showing at Mississippi Thunder for Modified World Championship

On Thursday afternoon, Cade Dillard took part in the first-ever Modified World Championship and was among a 93-car field at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) for the weekend.

Kicking off the event strong, Dillard qualified second-quickest in his group and picked up a heat race victory which put him on the second-row of a preliminary feature. Cade drove to a podium finish in third behind Tyler Nicely and Jake Timm.

The results were good enough to lock himself into Saturday's finale.

Dillard earned the 11th-starting spot in the 80-lap, $100,025-to-win main event on Saturday and he made up four positions to score a Top-10 finish in seventh.
