Fifth-place outing in Spring Nationals finale at Lucas Oil Speedway
Back in his No. 97 Late Model for the weekend, Cade Dillard was one of 43 entries at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Spring Nationals.
Laying down the fourth-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Dillard picked up a heat race win and earned a third-place starting spot in the A-Main. Cade brought home an eighth-place finish in the $7,000-to-win opener.
On Saturday evening, Cade qualified fifth-quickest in his group before finishing runner-up in his heat race. Dillard started fifth in the $20,000-to-win finale and picked up a Top-5 finish in fifth behind Hudson O'Neal, Brandon Overton, Mike Marlar, and Jonathan Davenport.
