Dillard bags $20,000 in Fall Nationals at Vado Speedway Park

Whynot’s Coors Light Fall Classic Up Next

ROBELINE, La. (10/22/24) – Cade Dillard soared to his third straight USRA Fall Nationals victory on Sunday night with a $20,000 triumph at Vado Speedway Park aboard his S&S Fishing & Rental Inc. / Johnsville Company No. 97 Joel’s Auto Sales / Krohn Farms / CDR Race Car Modified.

After topping Friday night’s preliminary program at the 3/8-mile oval, Dillard increased his 2024 win total to 14 with a flag-to-flag performance in Sunday’s rain-delayed 50-lap feature.

The victory marked Dillard’s fourth Fall Nationals triumph overall.

“What an awesome weekend,” Dillard said. “It’s always a great feeling to pick up the win, but seeing clients doing well in a CDR Race Car is gratifying. Big thanks to everyone who helps out with my program. Vado (Speedway Park) continues to give us a great race track, which was the same tonight. Thanks to Royal Jones for providing us with an awesome facility to race at.”

Cade Dillard unloaded his S&S Fishing & Rentals No. 97 CDR Modified at Vado (N.M.) Speedway Park over the weekend in search of his fourth USRA Fall Nationals victory at the 3/8-mile oval.

With preliminary action slated for Friday night, Dillard charged from seventh-to-second in his heat race before picking up the checkered flag in the 25-lap prelim feature.

Back at the track on Sunday for the main event after wet weather shifted the finale from Saturday to Sunday, Cade started the 50-lap feature from the pole position and led every lap to score his 14th triumph of the season. He outran Rodney Sanders and Jake Gallardo for the $20,000 payday and his third straight USRA Fall Nationals.

Dillard now shifts his focus back to the Super Late Model ranks for the 30th annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park. Dual preliminary features on Friday set the stage for Saturday’s $20,000-to-win finale.
