12th place finish in Rock Gault Memorial opener at Cherokee

Cade Dillard returned with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series on Friday evening at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the two-day Rock Gault Memorial. With the 43-car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Cade finished in fifth in his heat, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main.
