Cade is 20 years old, and graduated from Many High School in Many, La. Cade started racing at 13 years of age at Sabine Motor Speedway in Many, LA. in the IMCA modified division where in his first year of racing he won the track Championship. In 2006 Cade attended the Brooks/Shaw driving school, where he completed with high honors in Batesville, Arkansas.

In 2008, Cade competed at tracks in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi. He competed in two different USMTS events where he qualified for both events. He finished 10th in points in the Outlaw Modified Series. Cade won the track championship at Sabine Motor Speedway in Many, LA., finished 3rd in points at Fast Trax Speedway in Chatham, LA., and 9th in points at Monroe Motor Speedway (asphalt track) in Monroe, LA. where he only competed in 4 events. Out of four events on asphalt Cade won TWICE and had 5 Top 3 finishes. During summer of 2008 Cade spent time assembling racecars at Larry Shaw racecars. Cade also drove a research and development car for Larry Shaw.

In 2009 Cade decided to compete in the ASA Late model (Nascar Whelen Series) at Monroe Motor Speedway in Monroe, LA. Cade had 8 late model feature wins. He won the limited modified state Championship at Sabine Motor Speedway in Many, LA. and won the Spooky 50 feature at Fast Trax Speedway in Chatham, LA. He finished 2nd in the state championship at Baton Rouge Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA. Cade even won a race in reverse race at Monroe Motor Speedway!
